Hey,
So I just got divorced and I'd like to wipe my phone off all the old pictures.
I have tried deleting them all from my phone, but they get send back to my device from iCloud.
I still want to sync my mac + iphone pics, I just want to permanately get rid of the old pics and start a new photo library on my mac and my phone, so the empty/new one can sync between my devices.

How can I do this?
Any tutorial or walk-through?

Not exactly sure, but I would take these steps. Turn off iCloud photo library on your iPhone. Go to the Photo's folder on your mac, delete the Photos Library icon (should be sizeable depending on the number of pictures), then open Photos on your mac, it should be a new library. Add whatever pictures you want, sync to iCloud, then go back to your iPhone and turn on iCloud Photo Library. Should be good.
