hi im trying to switch to att but im confused about family plans. the iphone one is different which is a problem bc when we switch im the only one whos gonna have an iphone so do they get everything off of my plan (unlimited data etc) or do i pay some fee and use their plan? thanks

Nothing says all the phones on a family plan must be the same.

Far as I know, you'll all share the pool of minutes, and SMS, if you get that, but data would be per device. Best answers would likely come from an AT&T store...

the above poster is correct. you will get a family plan. example: 1400 minutes for $80, which includes two lines. its $10 for each extra line. Then an extra $30 for the iPhone data.

If you have 3 regular phones and 1 iPhone it will come out to $80+20+30. Totaling $130. good luck.
