I just noticed today that when you post a new thread or reply, the page has a gray background now.

Was this changed on purpose?

Just to give my opinion, I don't like it that much.

As I recall, it was always grey but it is now considerably darker. I like it this way. Change to this place is s l o w.

I noticed it too. Personally I don't like it, but I'm not complaining though, it's trivial (IMO).

Now... where's the redesign? It has been incoming for at least 4 years now...

I noticed it on 2 different machines. I thought maybe it was some cached CSS issue, but doesn't seem so, so far. I don't care for it either.

CSS-wise, looks to be the .tborder selector that causes this color. It's declared in the page rather than from a CSS file.

I noticed it too. Not a fan, makes the site look older, but I don't mind so much. I would love a complete overhaul of the site though.

I believe it has something to do with the contest, and is only temporary, but I could be wrong.

Y'know, "The Contest":

I'm glad somebody asked about this because I had the feeling something was wrong but I just wasn't sure. Colors aren't my strong suit.

I don't think it was changed on purpose. I'll ask around.
