Hi everyone,
Just got a new 12" powerbook last night. I love it. One thing that I'm trying to do without success is to sync the powerbook up to my iMac using bluetooth and the iSync program. Is this something that can be done? The powerbook has BT 2.0 and the iMac has BT 1.0. They see each other and can be linked but they don't show up when I open iSync. If this is not possible is there a way I can sync up my address book, iCal, etc? between the two computers. Or is this how Apple sells .mac accounts?
The other problem I've encountered is that my cell phone (Siemens S66) which syncs beautifully with the iMac will not sync with the Powerbook, iSync (on the powerbook) says that it is not supported by iSync. The iMac is running OS 10.3.6 and the Powerbook has OS 10.4 (Tiger). I don't understand why they would discontinue support for devices on a newer platform. Any one have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
