Just noticed this when browsing the UK Educational Institution store.

What's the difference between "Apple Edu" and "Apple Edu Institution"? Does one pertain more to college?

AFAICS, one is for institutional purchases, the other for personal purchases.

i wouldnt read very much into it, someone most likely just didn't upgrade an image file.

If I'm not mistaken, thats the widescreen picture that was used on the older Apple Cinema Displays. And the background is normal Tiger when you click on them. It's probably just an error.
