Can someone give a BRIEF comparison of the NEW PB vs SOEMTHING to give us an idea how fast or slow the NEW PB are in VIDEO EDITING, LOGIC, MP3 ripping, PAINTSHOP etc
I just want to know when i buy my new PB how fast it will do my video editing(I just wana do some basic amature video editing in iMOVIE, burn to DVD and thats about it in way of video editing)
, image manipulation, mp3ripping, DVD burning, CD burining of a normal 74 min cd etc.
Dont have to be too DESCRIPTIVE. Even if you can compare it just give a brief example of times or benchmarks or some form of mesurement. I realise it would be better to have a G5 etc but all i need is a laptop cos i dont have enough space and money for a G5 + monitor etc

Would it be fast enough to run logic? with say a sampler plugin etc.?
I dont care about the CENTRINO is cheaper etc bullsh#t, i like mac, their service there programs etc. I just want to know about the performance.
