Basically what the title says..... Has there been any specualation about the 64mb video card in the 12" pb maybee going up to what the current 15" and 17" have?

if your asking if there has been any speculation of it, wouldn't it be better to do a search for it?

Then if there isn't you know your answer without wasting the space on the site ^_^.

And i can say from watching the site there is no speculation of it, and they wouldn't do it unless they upgraded the 15 to the mobility 9700 128MB and the 17 to the mobility 9800 128MB

even then the 12 would get a 9600 64MB in my opinion

ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9600/9700 is based on a 3yr old graphics chip. Apple should move to NVIDIA GeForce Go 6600 and 6400 Series with NVIDIA's HSI PCI-Express to AGP chip. NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800 and 7800 series is too hot for a PowerBook.

I wish they would actually use the mobile technology that nvidia and ati spits out. Last time when the PB came out, they could have put a mobile 9899

Probably a Nvidia 5200 of some type ;)

Please no not again!!! They need to trash that old chip once and for all. The 12" POWERbook needs a modern high-end mobile chip with at least 128mb. The 15" and 17" should have at least 256mb.

Actually now that I think about it all the PowerBooks should have 256mb with optional 512mb. :D

ok... A powerbook with 256 mb would be amazing for final cut and stuff but a 512. I don't think so.
