I don't think that it was all that unexpected that iPod sales went up. I mean it was a new piece of hardware and software. . .

they expected increase sales but the increase was more than expected and the music store of course helped. especially after it started selling more songs than previus services combined in the last fiscal year.

anyone from wall street advising people to buy apple is news indeed. with a bit of luck and nice timing, apple could emerge from this recession very strong and very profitable. here's hoping.
