NEW Printer for an iMac running OS9?? :(

My grandmother has an iMac... an old, big, iMac running OS9 with USB 1.1 ports... her printer just broke and she absolutely doesn't want to buy a new computer. I could upgrade the OS and get something that would work, but the only OS that I have access to is 10.4, and I think the performance of it on the machine would be abysmal.

So, the question is... what printer that I could buy now, either new or refurbed, would be capable of running on the system?

Most of the major printer companies (Epson, HP) should have printer drivers compatible with legacy OS's. Check their websites.

I wouldn't count on it. Not OS 9 drivers.

I think you may be hitting up eBay for a used printer....
