Just got a Canon Pixma MX300 from the Apple Store and the drivers don't seem to be built into OS X. I searched on Canon's site and found drivers for it, but they won't work. It asks me to restart my computer, but for some reason OS X can't restart it itself, so I have to do it manually by hitting the power button. When the computer turns on again, nothing changes.

Does anyone know where I'd get WORKING drivers?

Pull the Canon folder from /Library/Printers, redownload and reinstall the MX300's drivers. You also should have gotten a software install disc with the MX300 shouldn't you? Tried running that?

 I didn't notice the disc...I was kind of expecting it would be built in. Either ways, I'm going to have to wait a bit as I need to setup remote install.
