I have an eMac, running OS 10.4.8 and an Epson 636U scanner. Until yesterday, I would scan a picture or a page and it would be added to a gallery in "My Photos". I now get a message saying that the newly saved image cannot be saved because the file cannot be found. In the 'Get Image' option, if I click on "My Photos" I get the same message. Same if I choose File>Open>My Photos. If I choose File>Open File>My Photos, the folders of photos appear. I can open a folder and see the 'thumbnail' pictures. I can open these, although sometimes Photo DeLuxe shuts down when I try to do so.

I enabled the 'balloons', and they tell me that 'My Photos' in the 'Get Photo' option cannot be opened because a dialogue is open. If I close it, then it can be opened. No dialogue is running that I can determine.

Can anyone help me understand what is happening and how I can un-do it?
