In my imagination
I don't know if it's been posted yet but...

Seems like Engadget, courtesy of PC Authority, courtesy of some other rumor site may have found an ad that leads to updated hardware from Apple Inc.

I already don't like that price of the Mac Pro, even if it isn't in US dollars.

Doesn't this just get piggy backed on all of the other relevant threads?

And the MP pricing is outrageous, really.

look at the waiting-for-arrendale thread...

these ads are fake btw...

Sure thing, I'll go look through 250 pages of 5000 posts, be right back.

Seriously though, give us a link to the post so we can take a look at it as well. And we know that it's fake bro, last time we check 80% of the stuff that flows through this site is a rumor and ends up being fake.

Pretty obvious actually, on both of your statements, but I am really curious to see what the lineup is going to look like with new hardware, and if Apple is going to keep to it's traditional, almost a decade long pricing scheme or if they will just give us the shaft and blow the prices out of proportion.

Even the current Nehalem Mac Pros aren't priced that badly at $2499, it's just that they're a year old and the same price. Let's hope Apple doesn't shoot the entry price for a tower up to $2999.

They're in Aussie dollars, which aren't too far off US dollars at the moment. Looks like the MBPs got a price raise (if this ad is to be believed).

That's in AUD. It will probably be the same price in USD as it is now. That being said, the current US prices are still outrageous.
