I bought 2 4GB sticks for my Macbook Pro mid 2009 15". When it came in, we installed it and only one stick worked. We switched things around for a while and found out that no matter how you switch it around, my mac does not want to accept 8GBs or ram! But if we put one of the old sticks in and one of the new sticks in, it works fine! But whenever I try to add both sticks in, it only shows that there is one stick inserted...and yes we tried both sticks...and yes we tried both slots. We have no clue what to do!

Please help,
Joshua
