Ok. This is becoming more than a minor annoyance. I finally got my new redemption code this afternoon for ML. Went to App Store and it accepted the code. However, instead of downloading ML it stated that the code was for ML server and that I needed 10.8 already installed on my system. Low and behold, the email I get also confirms a server download attempt.
How difficult is it for Apple to do this correctly? They manage to push everything mostly fine with iCloud but a simple OS download is getting *******'ed up. Frustrated by the slowness I ended up just paying the $20 for my rMBP yesterday and wanted to use the redemption code for my other 2 MBPs.
Anyone successfully use their codes?
