Nooo..... argh!! my order for Leopard on play.com now reads..

Preordered - Due for release: 02/11/2007

Are they totally wrong? please someone put my mind at rest!

Well, I can't tell you because I ordered from Apple. But if the site tells you so, it might be true. My guess is that they (play.com) aren't getting their copies from Apple right when Leopard releases. Sorry :(

Are you in Europe, cause otherwise that date makes no sense. Don't sweat it, you'll get your copy within a week of launch.

And if not, then that sucks for you.

Well if it actually says 2007, that whole date may be an error.

I think they meant 11/2/2007. So you'll get yours November 2nd?

That doesn't mean they changed the release date though...

It's probably a typo that was supposed to be 11/2/2007. Entirely possible that that particular site isn't getting their copies until a week later.

its a UK date, 2nd November 2007.

I have cancelled and gone with Apple store....

Estimated Shipping: 26 Oct, 2007
Estimated Delivery: 29 Oct, 2007 - 30 Oct, 2007

I will have it next week at least.

I was looking forward to spending the whole weekend checking off all 300 features :), but I can wait a few more days.

This is Europe. 11/2/2007 is the 11th of February 2007 over here. We do things the logical way you see :).

Well, I most certainly don't do it that way. But it's mostly because I like to be different. I also work on a 24-hour clock.

I use 24 hour clock too despite being in the U.S. In terms of dating, I prefer to write out the entire date, to cause no confusion between countries.

you and me both.... it annoys the hell out of my friends. I get confused with dates that way. Like today I was on the phone with my insurance and they asked for date of birth, i got confused as to which they would accept. mmddyyyy or ddmmyyyy.

yep.. looks like play.com aren't gonna be shipping on time :(

i had pre-ordered with them, but when i saw it was going to be at least a week later, i cancelled it and ordered through Apple instead..
ok, so it cost me an extra fiver, but who cares :)

You definitely should have ordered from Apple. I got my email this morning from Apple saying my order has been shipped, should be here tomorrow ... :)
