I was wondering if the MBP are likely to be faulty when they are released like the iMac from October? and Is the new MBP supposed to still be $1199 for the low 13 inch?

Yes.
No.

Maybe.

The price will stay the same though, no reason to lower it again if they sell like hot cake.

As for the faultiness of new MBPs, how should we know? We don't have access to Apple's production facilities and therefore have no way of knowing if they finally put their evil plan into action to make as many MBPs as(s) faulty as they can.
