iPad mini "New" (replacement) iPad has a yellow tint lower half

Got a replacement warranty exchange through mail, it's an iPad Mini 2, and there is a clear difference in color temperature between the uppe and lower half. The upper has a slight pink tint while the lower half has a yellow tint.

Is this something that can go away or is it worth an exchange?

It is very unlikely that it will go away, and I would definitely exchange it. These devices cost too much to settle for something that doesn't meet your expectations.
