New Replacement Name for Podcast - Beam

Hey all - everybody loves podcasts, but not the name. Have you read the recent article about podcasts? http://www.current.org/2013/03/the-name-needs-revamping-but-podcasts-are-here-to-stay/

So, what do you think about renaming podcasts to "Beams"? You stream parts of audio and video, but you beam the whole episode.

BEAM.

Boom.

I'm not sure who determined that not everyone likes the name "podcast", 'cuz they didn't ask me. It's not that big of a deal. Seriously....

Yeah... I'd rather stick with podcast over beam. One is clearly defined, the other already has a definition and means something entirely different.
