New Retina MBP cooling Fans

Do you guys think...

that it is possible to get the same kind of funky cooling fan type as the Retina MBP? for the older type MacBook Pro?

that could be great!
 
Unlikely to be a drop in replacement. The retina ones are very thin and have different screw mounts. The non-retina fans would have to be redesigned. I don't think Apple redesigns things in that way.
 
They're probably highly proprietary as well. Patent pending etc. In case you haven't seen the video of the new MBP, the intake and the airways are designed for that particular layout.
 
I meant the asymmetrical design for the blades,
not the actual fan, well, wishful thinking here ;)
