From the very beginning I have been a huge fan of the white Incase Slider's design.

Unfortunately, as many people have reported, the case fits very tight regardless of screen protectors.

I have purchased and returned and purchased at least 8 of these Incase Sliders over the past 6 months and have finally today got hold of one that slides in smoothly. All of these were purchased at Best Buy.

You can see the revision number on the inside of the case. It begins with a 6. More importantly, the newer revisions of the case do not say they have a flash ring. This is probably why it took me so long to find it. I always assumed the flash ring was a newer feature.

Comparing with the newer Incase designs, the actual flash ring is more concave than the one found on all revisions of the Incase Slider. That must be why they removed this feature on the packaging - the flash ring must not have been effective.

Even though its smooth to get on, some bubbling does still occur with screen protectors. It is very minimal, and I believe it is due to user error. Applying the screen protector perfectly should solve this problem. As it is, applying one perfectly on the white iPhone in particular is near impossible.

Note that the fitting problems of the previous revisions are not due to rumored increased sizes of the white iPhone model. I have owned the black iPhone previously and the Incase Sliders had problems with it as well.
