new rMB - HDMI or DisplayPort for ext Monitor?

Hello-

Have a brand new rMB on the way.

Looking at an ASUS PB328Q, which can accept both DisplayPort or HDMI.

I also need a hub, and most seem to be HDMI, but there are some with DisplayPort.

What are the pros and cons with these?

Thanks!

Edit - to be clear, I am talking about the 12" rMB. Not a Pro.
