New rMBP, installing iWorks question - CD and App store?

I had iWorks on my 2010 MBP via CD. What's the best way to transfer that to my new rMBP? (please no, "you should have got a laptop with a CD drive spam please).

I had assumed that it would have been "linked" with the App Store by now so I could download that way, but it isn't. Is there a way to do that? Or do I need to share the CD and install it that way?

You'll need to share the CD. Sadly, Apple does not link the CD version and the App Store version.

Another way is to do an image of the install cd and mount that in the future, no need for the physical media.
