New rMBP user! Please help out

I did not use Lion.... my latest OS is Snow Leopard...
Can you guys give me a list of what apps to get for rMBP? (Is SMCfan still good? What's that graphic switching program?)
Is there some color sync templates???

What do you use your computer for? I'm not sure why it wasn't obvious that this would make a big difference on which apps people would recommend.

gfxcardstatus causes a lot of issues for people on the rMBP, I would avoid it.

i'd say the resolution switcher is most important if you like to tinker..dunno if there's any side effects yet
