New Safari icon bottom right of home screen (opposite of camera shortcut)

Anyone else notice this new Safari icon on the home screen of iOS 8 (bottom left)? I just noticed it today. I have an iPhone 5s. My sister has an iPhone 6 with 8.0.2 and doesn't have the icon, neither do some of my friends.

That is continuity. You must have Safari running on another device. The icon will pick up where you left off on your other device.
