I found an old (2002 
) harman/kardon 2.1 speaker system from an old Dell package we used to use, but it has since been shut up in a closet.

Anyway, one of the satellite speakers is not-functional at best, and I was wondering if I could use a different pair of satellites and still use the subwoofer. [It has a brown and an orange coloured plug, but it looks like the normal headphone diameter].
