new scorpions album! thanks!

Hi,

i was listening to the previews of the new scorps album on their site...sounds pretty wicked!

Thanks for the Scorpions for sticking around and reminding me what good...no...what GREAT music is all about. it's nice to music that is well written and where the artists actually use their instruments wisely instead of repetitive cookie cutter sounds.

i feel like i've been cheating on myself for not listening to the older bands more often.

The older bands are a lot better for many reasons, one they don't need to have a record exec telling them how many records to sell to make the sound generic. Now they are making stuff they want not for what other people tell them to make.

that's a great point. you are so right. i'm going back through my itunes and making some proper playlists of the old stuff and letting 'er rip
