I have a 2017 iPad Pro which I love, but the screen has a touch issue thats getting worse and the coating is also worn. Would a screen replacement likely fix the touch decease?

Yes, for now, but no for long term. It’s a hardware issue that creeps up over time.

I'm not entirely sure, but from what I've read over the years, it seems like there is no fix. I have a 10.5" 2017 Pro and with a slight bright spot noticed, it hasn't had issues with the screen getting pressed so much in the area causing erratic touch inputs.
