i cloned and replaced my stock 160gb hard drive with a new seagate 500gb drive today. after i restarted, everything looks just like my old drive, except for a few things. the menu bar keeps getting greyed out, and won't stay open after you click on it. example, when i click the apple icon on the top left corner, it will show u the content for a millisecond then disappear. also, the dock keeps appearing and disappearing every few seconds. i can open applications. it's getting them to open that's the problem, everytime i hover over the dock it disappears. i have to click it as soon as it appears or it will go back down again. once applications open, they work fine. i can watch movies, i can browse the internet pretty well. but it seems like a mouse click also affects it. it only happens anytime i try to do something. if i leave the mouse alone, everything will stay in its place, as soon as i try to open something or hover over an application, it seems to be refreshing everytime i do that. i have tried fixing permission over and over again, i booted from my old drive and it works fine. i erased everything again and cloned it using both Carbon Copy Cloner and Super Duper several times. i don't have the dock preference on "automatically hide". i don't know how else to explain it. my laptop is a macbook 2.0. i upgraded the ram last week to 4gb. but i haven't had any problems with it. i have recorded this video to try to show the problem. i hope someone can help. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmsVEmkGVSw#watch-vid-title
