Apologies in advance if this issue has already been dealt with here, but does anybody know what Apple's criteria is for which Apps get listed on the "New" section of the App Store. I have a new(ish) App (release date Aug 30) up there and it started out buried around page 8 in the "Entertainment" section. It never appeared in the "New" section, but there are Apps in there with release dates as old as mid July.
 
Probably better over in the iPhone Programming forum, but anyways: it's all down to human choice at Apple. Basically they pick a set of newish apps every so often then don't change the list for a while.
