New series 2 and notification sounds

Received my new SS 42 series 2 yesterday and restored it from my series 0 backup. It's generally working well but I've noticed that sometimes it doesn't make a sound or haptic for new emails. At first I thought that it might be the iPhone not receiving the email but, when I look at the watch, the little red notification dot is there and so is the email notification.

The majority of new email notifications are accompanied by the 'ding' and the haptic feedback - it's just one or two that are 'silent'. I don't think it can be a hardware issue so I'm assuming a watchOS 3.0 bug.

Anybody else had anything similar?

Noticed today that it's actually just the sound that's missing sometimes - the haptic is there but weaker than normal. It was doing this on my old series 0 watch after upgrading it to watchOS 3.0 so definitely appears to be a bug.
