New setup

Finally canned the family's HP Desktop that's been nothing but problems for the past year.

I have a MBP that I'm thinking of moving to the now vacant Computer desk.

I just purchased the following to complete the desktop set up:

Apple Wireless Keyboard (the newer one)
Logitech Bluetooth Mouse
mStand (heard this was much better than the Griffin Elevator)
Bose Computer Monitor Speakers

Should all be here on Tuesday. I'll take some pics with my rebel once it's all set up and post it on the Picture Gallery thread.

I have the Griffin Elevator and it works fine..
But this thread is useless without pics Jk.

Would love to see a picture of your setup. I'm also planning to use my MBP as my desktop now with an external monitor, keyboard and mouse. I'll suggest using the new wired keyboard though as it's a full keyboard. I thought of using the wireless keyboard but was afraid that I'll miss the full keyboard features. To each his own though.

How much did you get the Stand for? Was thinking of purchasing either a Griffin Elevator or M-Stand.

you probably should have gotten the wired keyboard, it probably eats batteries as bad as the wireless MM. post some pics when you get it all.

not at all ive hd it on constantly for 2 weeks, no battery loss so far

I got the stand for $48 off of Amazon. I'm also a Prime member so overnight shipping was only $3.99

I think buying from them directly overnight shipping was just AS much as the stand itself.

The new wireless keyboard is just as good on battery life as the old one. Get a good pair of Li-Ions and you are good to go.

Typing on it OTOH is just about as bas as the using the MM.
