Dear all,
I just want to make you aware that there will be a new Sharp Zaurus C3000 in Japan - coming on 10th of November with a built-in 4GByte hard disk!
Although obviously not MacOS X based it uses Linux and Qt.
Here some links to descriptions and fotos.

Because I got the impression that it will be sort of a Baby Mac, I have made a photo of my Zaurus C860 (the current model not yet with hard disk) together with my Powerbook G4.
Hints: The antenna at the C860 is from a Compact Flash GPRS wireless card. And there is a Web browser on the C860 as well (haven't made a foto).
Syncing with a Mac is not very elaborated - and we are still fighting for a reliable working solution (project ZMacSync).
And finally, it appears that the international Sharp divisions are not selling these devices in the US or Europe but I am sure there will be several companies handling imports from Sharp Japan, doing localization and helping out with service and warranties.
