The new Sigma DP-1 for professionals looks pretty interesting. It's the second point and shoot to use the Foveon sensor. Assuming improvements, this would seem to deliver some awesome looking pics?

I don't know much about the sensor, the lens, or Sigma for that matter. It sure looks interesting, though.
I'd have bought the somewhat similar Ricoh GR-D this summer if it weren't so noisy and were better built (for the price).
Be nice to know it's approximate release date.
