New Siri remote control 2 separate Apple TV HD in same house?

I have 2 Apple TV HD in house with the original Siri remote, which I think like others I hate.

The new Siri remote looks a lot better and as I don’t need to upgrade the Apple TV hardware I’m thinking of buying the new Siri remote itself.

Don’t use the 2 Apple TV’s at same time, can I use 1 remote with 2 Apple TV’s? Or would they have to be paired and unpaired every time?

Anyone have the new Siri remote comment on its use? I just find the original one I’m always knocking it and skipping, or quitting the program etc.
