I installed Snow Leopard shortly after it was available, and since then I've noticed that sleeping the computer is a little unusual.

Traditionally my computer used the standard sleep configuration unless I said otherwise with the Deep Sleep widget. Now it seems like the decision is more random. If I leave my computer sleeping for longer than about an hour, it goes to safe sleep and I have to wait for the RAM to load from the HDD.

Has anyone else noticed this and does anyone have any solutions?
