New sms tone not working

I have a 8gig 3Giphone jailbroke to iOS4 no worries..
but when I was reloading my modded .caf for recieved sms messages. files which worked a treat when I was at 3.1.2 I get nothing pure silence
Have I missed something and or have things changed???

My modded caf file still works. Did you reboot your phone after you made the change?
