New Spirit Fix?

I am new to JB but have read a couple of threads...
I am aware that JB on itune 9.2 cause issues (infinite loop)
But I have read a couple of places that spirit has been updates and fixes the 9.2 issue...
on there official spirit site (http://spiritjb.com/)
it still mentions that I should not use itunes 9.2
Can anyone clarifies for me?

Is there an official new vers. of spirit that will work with 9.2
Or should I downgrade itune?

I don't see a link for the update for the Mac. There is only one for Windows.

Anyone know if there is an update for 9.2 for the Mac available?
