Before yesterday, I’ve gone from a 15-18 hour charge on my Series 0 Apple Watch. Since installing the Spotify app, even though I’m not using Spotify on my phone at all, my battery barely last 5 hours.

Is anyone else noticing excessive battery drain since the Spotify app install?

Maybe reboot or something?

I’ve been going 1day & 6hrs since charged to 100%, and I’m on 64% now.

That includes using Spotify on phone for about 2hrs (I use it to play music through car Bluetooth), and the Watch app was handy for starting it up, normally if I’ve watched YouTube or some other app that grabs audio, I have to reopen Spotify on phone before audio pops through to car.

(Series 4)

Perhaps it’s just a Series 0 problem. I did reboot and it didn’t work; I deleted the app and battery life is back to normal.

I can still control Spotify on my iPhone without the Spotify app, so it’s redundant to me anyway.
