Thank's everyone for all your post. I found a lot to be very helpful.
I decided this year to wait to purchase a new cell, so that i could read problem's people were having, and find other info that was helpful. Been following Apple Upgrade online, and since i wasn't upgrading i decided to give it a try any way. Found what i wanted yesterday, but it was 25 miles in rush hour traffic, so i waited till this morning.
I was thinking Verizon, because i wanted to be able to use any of the carrier's. They didn't have the one I wanted, and then i thought about what i read in all the post. Verizon and Sprint are the same.
I purchased at full price the Sprint 7 Plus 256 gb, and traded in my 6s Plus. Only got $315 for the trade, but i also didn't want to be tied into a contract for 2 yrs. It was a little more this way, but i just didn't want to be tied down to one carrier. The person helping me at the store had to ask if it was ok for me to buy the phone for full price. Not a problem.
I unboxed the cell, and the first thing i did was take out the sim, and put in my AT&T sim. I was upfront with the sales person, and he was laughing about it. He said if i activated it with the Sprint sim it would lock into Sprint. I used a backup from iTunes from my 6s+. I had taken all the music, video, and photo's off for this purpose. I didn't have a problem.
I'm charging the phone now, and the only thing i've done was to make a call, and send a text. No problem's, and it show's AT&T.
I really liked the 6s+, and hoping i like the 7+ more.
