I have read the guide and all that.

I did not see anything about mushkin or ADATA SSD's ... they work great in my PC systems, but I was curious how well it would go in my MBP?

I have used OWC for most my mc upgrades but their prices are not too competitive at the moment.

Most folks are going with the Crucial M4. It's a pretty fast and reliable SSD. Their prices have dropped quite a bit lately. Don't know much about Mushkin or ADATA.

Here's a Crucial M4 for $203. Check around as I've seen it as cheap as $179.

You might also consider the Samsung 830. It has faster read/write speeds than the M4 but is a little more expensive. Check around as I've seen it as cheap as $219.

The biggest difference is you can update the firmware of the M4 on your Mac but the 830 has to be done on a Windows machine. Both are pretty reliable drives.
