New SSD install, reinstall or restore from Time Machine

So, I've got a Vertex 3 240g on the way and I'm just wondering which is recommended, to reinstall or restore from a Time Machine backup.

Thanks for your help!
 
What would be the advantage to a reinstall versus a restore from Time Machine?
