I got a new Crucial 256 GB M4 SSD, replaced the optical drive, now i have an SSD and the 750 HD on my MB PRO mid 2012.
I want to clone the HD to the SSD, so i downloaded Carbon Copy Cloner for the job. Before starting to clone, it needed to also clone the recovery partition, which gave me an error there, but anyway it started to clone the disk.
Is there anything better i can do? I mean, i wanted to install Lion on the SSD first, but since i don't have the optical anymore, it's not an option. Also, i have the Lion install USB disk, but it says that it cannot be installed on this Mac.
Any suggestions?
