Hi all,

Today I replaced the optical drive on my 15" MacBook Pro with a Samsung 830 128 GB SSD. The installation went without a hiccup. After formatting the drive, I was able to view and modify it in Finder from my HDD. However, when I tried installing Lion on it, the installation completed, but the drive wouldn't boot, even after holding down 'option' at startup and selecting the drive. The system loads for a minute, then the screen flashes and it boots into my HDD. I am trying to do a clean install on the SSD, but failing.

Anybody have any ideas as to why this could be happening?

Thanks
