Is it just me or is the standard wallpaper the ripples not Retina on the iPhone, or high res on the iPad 2. Can't say anything about the new iPad haven't seen it.

i really like it but it annoys me its not sharp. its kinda blurred and pixilated. :(

I think they did it on purpose...to make the icons stand out more.

Of course...they could just no longer give a **** to detail under Tim Cook about details in wallpapers but I think the first is more likely.

No problems for me

I updated it in my iPhone 4s and new iPad. The wall paper is still the same which was there before the update. Also the icons are intact.

Do you guys have the 4?

I have the 4S and it looks fine. Pretty crystal clear.

EDIT: upon closer inspection, I can kind of see what you guys are talking about. There are like ripples within the ripples, but again blurry doesn't come to mind. It's just a strange photo.

The other new wallpaper photo sucks too, the one of the water washing onto shore. WTF.

The new wallpaper looks HORRIBLE on my ipad 3rd gen and on my iphone 4. Looks blurry as hell. Wonder why?
