New status icon related to BT but what is it?

I hooked up some new BT headphones last night and saw this new icon, to the right of the traditional BT icon. It looks like a rectangle with a dot over it?

Does anyone know what it's supposed to be for?

The icon isn't new.

It displays the battery life remaining on the bluetooth headset/headphones.

I'm pretty certain it shows the battery status of your BT headset.

ok cheers guys! just seeing this now with my new Klipsch, my previous Sony MW600 BT unit obviously didn't support this feature.
