Hello,

This weekend I purchased a new Studio Display, and upon unboxing it, I noticed the gap between the chassis and the glass panel looked somewhat sloppy. I'm assuming that stuff in the gap is either adhesive or foam tape that is used to join the panel with the chassis.

I've taken a close look at a few Studio Displays on display at a nearby Apple store, and panel gaps on those units looked perfect (no visible adhesive/foam tape).

Is this something I should be concerned with, or just ignore?

Up to you. I doubt function will be impacted but potentially could allow dust to accumulate behind the glass.
To be honest, I've not inspected mine to this detail to know if mine look like this or not. But it wasn't something I noticed right away.
