I was looking at apples hot news section on there web site and i noticed that they want people to tell them there stories about how the mac is better and that stuff
http://www.apple.com/switch/tell/us.html
so i was thinking could this be a kick off to a new marketing campagin?

(Sorry i had no clue where to post this move if nessisary)

Actuallly, I believe that has been there the whole time since they started the switch thing like 3 years ago. They still do some updates to the switch site, but they haven't done any videos in a long time.

Well the consensus in this thread seems to be that Apple may just be using this to do market research, and not necessarily to make new ads. hat really makes more sense to me as I don't see Apple as the kind of company that would reuse an idea that didn't work too well the first time.

Really? I never knew that the switch campaign was a dud. I thought it went well. But who knows I wasn't into macs back then :p

Possibly a new switch campaign, or maybe just a little bit of market research in order to decide how to tailor their next ads.
