Just wondered if there was any way I could get a New Tab button on my Safari toolbar. I went in to customize and there wasn't anything there, I know I can press CMD + T but I am used to it from other browsers. If I remember correctly the Safari for Windows had this option.

Thanks.

Hi!

You can get the great, free Safari plugin SafariStand from here.

Besides all the great things of SafariStand like Sidebar thumbnails of all open tabs and QuickSearch it will give you exactly what you need (i.e. a button that opens up a new, empty tab).

Hope this was helpful.

Thank-you.

Hi!

From Safaris menu, select Window look at the shortcut for Select Next/Previous Tab.

If you want to override these pre-defined shortcuts, please read the post, named "Keyboard shortcuts - homemade" over at my site.

Hope this was helpful.
