New TB MBPs - does using bluetooth keyboard/mouse/tp slow down your wifi connection?

This has dogged my MBA since Mountain Lion (or was it Mavericks?) where my internet via bluetooth is crippled when using my apple wireless keyboard and trackpad. With bluetooth on I get about 10Mpbs, with bluetooth off I get 60 or 70!

Anyone tested this on their new TB MBPs? Can you do a www.speedtest.net with bluetooth on/off please?

Sounds like the 2.4GHz space is pretty jammed. Can you change your wifi to 5Ghz?

Unfortunately not (well at least not with the router that came with my broadband).

Just an update to say I rang my ISP and they sent me a new 5ghz router and the problem is gone (at least on my mba - mbp not here till next month)

Not sure why I didn't upgrade my router earlier now
