We've just had two new 2.0GHZ G5s with Tiger, installed in the production department. However, they will not recognize the local NT server.
The specialist that was called in to install them properly (I refrained from offering my limited services) said it's to do with new protocols in Tiger that aren't compatible with our 'old' servers.
So, my G5 with 10.3.9 runs and connects fine. My Powerbook, with Tiger on it, can see my desktop but cannot see the main server, or my local network (two older macs running OS 9).
What gives? is there a way round it? I wouldn't mind connecting them up in the 'specialist's' absence'.
